Hi, Allie,

Hi, Allie,

My name is Michiko Hedden.  I'm a sixty six year old Japanese lady.  I came to America in 1996 with no English.  My husband and I adopted a cat who spoke fluently Japanese and French.
From the time he disappeared I have a struggled with depression.  Hyp 1/2 has been my best therapy.

Sometimes when I get depressed my husband reads to me in bed from your book until I go to sleep.  When I wake up, I'm encouraged and renewed.
"Parp" has become part of our personal language.
By the way we were in France recently I was surprised to find your book there.
The French title is just "Hyperbole".      I hope you enjoy my version "simple dog" and "helper dog".

MY CALENDAR

I collected my recent art work and made 2015 calendars.

It's for my families and friends as a Christmas present.

MY BOOK

I made my own book. I`m a writer now!

About ten years ago I was invited by the public library to introduce some Japanese folk tales to local children.

I picked some stories and translated them into Japanese, and narrated them like "Kamishibai". I made a Kamishibai frame from cardboard.

I asked my husband to correct the text and added some illustrations.

The website to make your own books www.blurb.com helped me.
